How Improving Self Confidence can help YOU

Improving self confidence is something that so many people want to do, yet very few people achieve. Why is this so? What is preventing YOU from becoming the best you can be? Do you do any of these things:

    It All Comes Back to Your Beliefs

    Your subconscious belief systems begin to form from the moment you are born; by things that your parents and others in authority say to you, and then later by the things YOU say to yourself every day. Some of us don’t even notice when we are thinking or saying negative things; but each and every one of these thoughts, feelings and statements can impact how we feel about ourselves.

    The same is true for positive self talk. If you tell yourself every day that you are gorgeous, smart and charismatic then one day you WILL actually come to believe it – try it for yourself! Have you ever entertained the possibility that it might just be okay to be you?

    So...what are my methods?

    One of my favourite improving self confidence techniques is self-hypnosis. This helps you create positive beliefs that work for you instead of against you. While this is happening, any negative beliefs will be “forgotten” by your subconscious mind. Each time you practice self-hypnosis you are strengthening the positive beliefs and fading out the negative ones.

    Also, as you’ve probably guessed, I’m a big fan of therapist-client hypnosis as well. Why? Because this is a sure-fire way to get right into that subconscious mind and teach it to accept the positive suggestions, making the good stuff part of your permanent reality.
